Yahoo Drops the Ball with Tumblr and allows Malware Ad Posts

Lately, I've been working very hard on a few blogs in my spare time.  But these were mostly based on Tumblr.  then, Yahoo purchased Tumblr and now there is a spammy advertisement as the very first post to every blog I have.  Some of these advertisements are even trying to distribute malware!  This just shows how little control that Yahoo has over its advertising and marketing program.

In other words, all the work I have done for the past 6 months or even years, has all gone-up in smoke because I couldn't even recommend my own blogs to a single soul unless they are using a decent malware program.

A standard anti-virus program won't even work on these applications.  Such applications take care of standard viruses, but not spyware and malware.  In order to get something that will work, I had to grab Malwarebytes' Anti-malware, Pro version.  It works well.  But since few are aware that their anti-virus program is so lax in defending against spyware and malware, I don't even dare link to my many tumblr blogs.

And that's a shame, because they were getting good and I was going to have a little fun promoting them.

Yahoo:  Really?  You are going to infect our computers with trojans, spyware and malware?  Who do you think you are?  Do you really think that the public won't sue you for malfeasance?  Even if you try to declare that it wasn't your ad, that it was your client's fault, you allowed this to happen with no quality control.

Yahoo, by looking the other way in the name of profit, was the enabler, the transporter and the instigator by allowing this sort of crap to happen to any degree.  You suck, Yahoo!
